At the Hotel for Homeless Dogs, we aim to make adoption as simple as possible while ensuring every dog finds the right match. Not every dog fits every home, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize their well-being.

• Homes with Cats: We can’t cat-test dogs at our facility. If a dog is over 6 months old and you’re a cat owner, please email us before applying. We will not adopt untested dogs into homes with cats.

• Renters: Please confirm pet and breed policies with your landlord before applying. Written proof is required before approval.

• Children Under 13: We do not adopt adult dogs (6+ months) to homes with young children due to safety and evaluation limitations. We recommend foster-based organizations in these cases.

• Fenced Yards: Not required in general, but necessary for homes on main roads due to flight risk concerns.

• Application Status: If you don’t hear from us, please check your spam folder.
